Fishing with Bear is all about FUN.

From the excitement of pulling in a fish on light rods, to the friendly jovial ribbing and banter among clients and friends, it’s a great day on the water!

You will love fishing for Trout and Bass, because there’s so much catching action. You are seldom sitting for hours, waiting for a bite

You will fishing on pristine mountain lakes, which offer the perfect setting to melt away all the stress of daily city living. These lakes are mostly within a 1 ½ hour drive from downtown Portland, Oregon.

Osprey and or, Bald Eagles are often seen on the lakes. It is amazing to watch them soar as they look for their next meal. Watching an Osprey dive from over 100′ and crash into the water is a sight to behold. Bald Eagles, on the other hand, swoop gracefully as they snatch a Trout from the water.

When you are on my boat, I am your servant. I will bait the hooks, net and clean the fish. If lines become tangled, I am there to do the untangling or to hand you another rod to keep you fishing. Seasoned anglers who enjoy these tasks are welcome to do so. This is your trip and I am here to serve you!

You will be riding on one of the safest boats on the water. It glides through chop or wakes in the water. You can get up and walk around without the fear of rocking the boat. And yes, there is even a port-a-potty and a privacy enclosure on board when nature calls.

When you book an all day trip, I will be preparing lunch on my on-board BBQ. You will enjoy freshly grilled Trout or Bass, which you caught that day.
