Goodness and Mercy

Goodness & Mercy all the days of our life

Last year we needed to put down our wonderful pet dog. He had been with us for 14 years and had truly become a member of our family. It was almost like loosing a child. My wife and I both grieved over our loss, but especially my wife.

She wanted to wait for a while before we got a new dog. We had been discussing the matter for a while and agreed it was time to start looking. So I went on Adopt A Pet.com and found some good prospects.

When we arrived at the rescue center, they had a number of Pomeranian dogs. They were all just as cute as a bug. But after observing the dogs interact with the other people looking for a dog and the other dogs themselves, my wife finally chose one. We call him Mercy. mercy

As the paperwork was being processed, my wife said, “I would take that one also if we could afford it.” The dog rescuer said, “You can get a discount for two dogs.” After a short negotiation, I was off to the nearest ATM to get more money.

goodnessSo we are now proud owners of Goodness & Mercy our two Pomeranian dogs. I am sure you will soon see them on the boat.

They are both gentle and sweet. Our Grand Daughter gave my wife a big hug and said, “Thank you for the puppies.” So it’s adjustment time with the new dogs.

See you at the dock.
